I think I need a new scale.....last week I it told me I lost 2 lbs (hooray!) This week, it says I gained 12 lbs....is that possible?

Before you ask...no, I'm not pregnant no matter what Jason tells you.

Who Says it's Over???

First of all, no one ever offered any suggestions as to an end date.

Second, I don't know why everyone stopped sending me weekly %...my own % did not change b/c my progress was nonexistent. Maybe that's the same with everyone else.

Thirdly, well, if things have died down and we have lost our competitive spirit then I guess we should call it quits and call Kristy the winner. If we do put an end to the competition, however, I think it'd still be fun to post ideas and frustrations and tips and comics and whatnot. For motivation if not anything else because I for one could still use some support...

Thoughts?

A winner?
I am guessing that since there have been no updates, and no new posts in over 3 weeks now, that the biggest loser is over, am I right? If that is the case, I will declare myself the winner, and eagerly await dinner with my healthy, much thinner:) family!! I will post my preferred list of 'eating stores' soon!!

ps I still haven't quit. . . I am still weighing in every Monday!!!

Here's a tip:

Never eat waffles and bacon for dinner before Spinning Class.

Monday, March 1, 2010

Okay,
So, I haven't weighed myself yet, today... (I forgot in the Monday morning rush to get everybody off to school & work),
However, I would like to incite Julie's disclaimer of possible weight-gain due to muscles getting bigger from Spinning Class.
As most of you now know, I started a Spinning Class last Thursday night. Thanks to Julie's experience, I learned from her example and decided to not go completely all-out my 1st try "in the saddle" Good thing, too. 'Cuz, although I felt the burn and had a good hurt during class, I felt fairly good, albeit very tired, at the end.
The next day, however, I couldn't get out of bed because just rolling into the sitting position caused pain I've not experienced before! My tailbone was so sore and my quads so tight the next 2 days, that when I squatted to take a look at something at the store, I couldn't get back into a standing position!!! Laugh, I know its funny!

So, while I now have learned that I should probably invest in some padded biking shorts, I have not yet accepted the idea of Butt-Butter.
